R.I.P. Flooble

Listening to: Sum 41 - Some Say

I gave up on Flooble. Nobody posts in it. And so what's the use...=\ Just resort to commenting on my posts because they allow anonymous posts so go for it.

No more Chinese for me....At least not in Victoria. I'm sorry but that guy could not understand anything I was asking. And gosh, at least here in Corpus it's easy to read the Chinese menu. At that mall Chinese place it was so freaking confusing. How was I to know Lo Mein wasn't served with fried rice? MAKE IT MORE UNDERSTANDABLE PEOPLE!!!

I think this anger was awaken by a stomach ache that would not go away. How long was the stomach ache? As long as I was awake. Which was 5 in the morning.

I'm sorry...Livejournal's taken me up. I need to get back into the habit of this.

Well anyways.

IT SNOWED!!!!! First time ever of me seeing snow. It was the best. My fingers are still numb, which kinda worries me. I went out barefoot. Fun fun. I got my sister square in the mouth.

I got a new camera. It's the best.

I got 90 bucks in Hot Topic gift cards. :)

I got 4 seasons of Friends.

I also got Van Helsing. I really need to watch it seeing as how last time I saw it I wasn't really paying attention. I was in too much pain.

It snowed and I cried. It sounds stupid, but...yeah.

Anyone who saw me this morning would've thought I was cold. I was shaking uncontrollably. This was all due to an excessive amount of caffeine in my system and my body wasn't used to the intake. I've deprived myself of caffeine for a long time, only taking in small amounts. But this morning I needed a boost, I drank the double-shot espresso. For a few minutes I was fine, a little more upbeat than before, and then came the shaking. Shaking for 5 minutes like a nervous chihuahua. I had to go to the restroom and sit in there for 5 minutes just to calm myself down. It subsided just a little, but once I got out and went back into the band hall I started shaking again. Lunchtime will be more caffeine, Welch's Grape Soda! I just hope I don't start getting crazy-like again.

I think I know what I'm getting my friend for Christmas. He says he doesn't want anything, but I know what I want to get him will make him happy.

I got Gilmore Girls season 2 yesterday. But the crappy thing is we have to return it. Disc 4 is scratched. How in the heck could it get scratched if it was new? It popped off the spindle-things and it got circularly scratched. I don't want to risk it skipping, so I told mom I think she should return it.

I want to start learning how to learn Flash. And if anyone knows of the program that lets you make icons of pictures you have, tell me please!

FCD

FCD
Slayer concert Saturday night. It was okay, considering I don't listen to that music. I saw lots of people. Too many. I was in pain for the whole night. BLAH

Friday my mom won the Ryan Cabrera cd. Question:
What were the nephews of Chip and Dale from the show Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers?

You would think with the question specifically stating what show it was from people would have the common sense to give an answer relative to it. Every answer given were shows not even related. Here were the two shows and answers people decided to give:
Alvin and the Chipmunks - Alvin, Simon, and Theodore
Donald Duck - Huey, Dewey and Louie
My mom, probably the 9th or 10th caller, searched the answer on the internet and won. People need to learn to use the internet to their advantage.

Only the best show EVER! (As a kid's show that is). And I will admit, I still have 2 videos of this show.

Listening to: Mest - Reason

My friend's new nickname for me is "Nubbet". I say, weird name. But I actually find it amusing, and maybe people can resort to calling me it haha. And if you think it's anything like Friends and their "nubbin" word, it's not. I typed Nubbet when I was telling my friend I wanted nuggets for lunch.

Listening to: Tsar - Ordinary Gurl

Thanksgiving week. Unbelievable boredom ahead. No friends to hang out with. But know what this means? Every night hopefully will be a Mark night on the phone.

Stupid kittens. They get lost every day it seems. They were lost a whole day! Found them in the next door neighbor's truck. I took them a bath, gosh they smelled. But guess what...They got dirty AGAIN.

Listening to: M2M - Don't

I feel like a bat right out of hell. I have no idea lol, it just popped into my head.

I'm wearing a skirt. Scary thoughts. VERY scary. I mean come on. I never wear skirts and today I wear one at school. I had and still have people telling me something. "Oh my god, Nina's wearing a skirt". "Chicken Legs!" "What are you trying to do, impress a boyfriend?" "HAHHAHHA!" Very...well it doesn't help my self esteem much, that's all I have to say about it. I'm also wearing my friend's bracelet on my leg. I think she forgot for the present time being.

Man I hate waking up feeling like --IT. My mom of course called me to make sure I was awake, and I have been awake at 6:10 everyday because I put my cell phone alarm on. But there was a new addition to the mix this morning, BANGING. My sister thought she has to add her little embellishment to the morning normal by banging on the wall yelling "WAKE UP WAKE UP". WTHeck! I was freaking awake and she has to give me a headache to add to the knee-ache and throat soreness I already had? I swear. Yesterday was the worst, with my knee hurting by the end of 6th period. I thought "Oh it's just my body getting used to the fact I have my Chemistry book in my backpack". NO. One day of soreness should go away. Well this morning, I get up to go get dressed and *PANG*, it hits. I was limping the whole time trying to get things ready and my mom noticed telling me if I wanted to stay home I could. I couldn't talk. Weirdness, I've been doing okay these past two weeks. But I took advil cold and sinus (with pain reliever too for the knee), and the congestion went away. The pain, not so easily suppressed. It still hurt, but it did go away, for about 15 minutes. It hurts now. But it's no use leaving school when I've reached 5th period already. Might as well hack it.

The water's seemed to cool down after a boil-over on Monday. I didn't feel like writing about it yesterday but I put gum in Sean's hair on Monday. Of course he wasn't too thrilled about this, and now that I think about it maybe I did go a little overboard, but in my head I still think it justified. It was for all the times he's made me almost cry, I got a headache from being so mad, or even embarassed me by saying things he didn't NEED to say. He had to cut that part of his hair (in the back of his head), which might I add was not even that much. I've seen worse. It wasn't even noticeable, and it wasn't noticeable yesterday either. I don't see what the problem is. So after it happened he started telling everyone he was going to chop my hair off. Big lie because he didn't do it. Just all talk. But now he knows that I'm not all talk when I say I'll pay him back. Consider that a fair warning.

Listening to: Gavin Degraw - I don't Wanna Be

I took the kittens a bath again. Only this time, I blow-dried them. HEHE. They didn't like that much. Mine actually tolerated it after 5 minutes of it, the other one hid under the literbox. They were nice, fluffy, and clean. I got about 5 cuts out of it and I'm sure Mark'll be yelling at me again. But it's all good! At least the kitties don't smell.

Friday, November 12, 2004

I took the kittens a bath for the first time the other day. Let's just say they didn't like it.

Last night my kitten got lost. I spent 30 minutes outside in cool weather in a short sleeve shirt running back and forth between houses looking for him. I finally found him in the next door neighbor's truck. Under it, and near the engine. DAMN KITTEN! I swear, he's a troublemaker. I almost thought he got scared away because there was a possum on the porch. I almost kicked the possum, but my fear of getting bit by that rabid thing was the only thing keeping me from doing it.

I have had a fear of possums ever since I was little. That day when those vile creatures chased me just as I was looking for a gecko to play with. I was minding my own business. They bared their teeth and chased me everywhere. My dad finally grabbed one by the arm, shot it right in its armpit, and did the same to the other one. Now that my dad's not here to do that, I'm afraid of doing anything to those animals, they're SCARY!
Me: Yeah, Kelly said she likes the Rick Springfield cd. Mainly because her brother's cd was scratched up. On her brother's cd she could only hear the first 5 songs on the cd, but at least those were the songs she liked. Such as "Don't Play With Strangers"--
Mom: It's "Don't Talk To Strangers". You're crazy! But I liked that one. "Don't Play With Strangers". *laughs*
I feel as though I've become more sarcastic, less talkative, less friendly, and anything that falls under that spectrum. I feel like another person in my own body. I don't feel like myself. Maybe I can start off by getting more sleep? Talking to more people. Actually not be shy. Even *gasp* try to get along with my sister? NO that's just crazy talk, never gonna happen. I've tried over and over to get along with her. She started yelling at me just because I said some tiny thing this morning, she threw a fit, and my mom yelled at her. Here's a conversation the other day that really got me mad.

Savanna: Mom, we should go to Dollar Tree to get some stockings. They have pink and blue for boys or girls.
Me: The traditional color for stockings is red.
Savanna: The traditional color is shut up.

What the heck? I was just informing her it made a lot more sense to get red stockings and I get yelled at for it? Of course, she got in trouble with mom and couldn't play outside with Savannah so it gave me a little time at Maria's house without her following me!

I think maybe the smartass attitude has gone from Me to Savanna. Or she's had it all along and I haven't displayed it lately, or I've displayed it plenty but she got worse. She's always been a little smart-alec. Never being punished for anything. Who was the one who got paddles broken on her butt as a kid? Not her that's for sure. I had many paint stirrers broken on my butt. You name it, it happened. Well not EVERYTHING, but lots of things were broken there. I never went a day without being spanked for something.

Is it so hard to follow directions? I swear, I was put in a group of people who couldn't follow directions. I can honestly say that me and Chris were the only two who took our work seriously and looked for lines in the poem that we needed for the overhead. We found 75-80% of the possible lines. Johnny, might have found one. The girl found none. We were supposed to do internal rhyming, which is of course, rhyming in a stanza of a poem in 2 lines, not one, not three, but 2 lines. The girl wrote one line for each of our 5 answers. COME ON! Our group ended up making complete and total fools of ourselves and I felt embarassed to be in that group. I mean yeah it was a mistake, but she should've followed directions.
